scanning

360dpi

150dpi
72dpi
scanning with 150 dpi

1) My scanner does not have a descreen function. However descreen is often used to remove or rather improve the effect of a moire pattern on scanned images. This is a better method than applying a blur or despeckle filter, resampling then using a sharpening filter.

2) 360 dpi is the best for print as it retains the greatest amount of detail.

72 dpi is the best for web as it is sufficiently detailed for monitor resolutions and web sized images.

150 dpi I believe is the best resolution for presentations as it has enough dpi to be expanded and retain resolution over a basic projector area.

3) I did with 150 dpi resolution. i picked up gathered skirt and pink colour fabric

Style rookie

I chose the Style Rookie because it is an entertaining piece that shows a number of interpretations of the style reminiscent of the 1960's. The key differences shown are the numerous embellishments via metallic adornments, a combination of 60's lengths and modern day cuts with the use of primary colours and patterns of the day. Like music it is exciting to see the successes of the past drawn out to be revivals in the modern age.

i am fashion

I chose this blog firstly for its simplicity. Three articles with 'fun' titles that have exquisite pictures that draw the reader into interest. The relaxed conversation of the article in addition to the cute, fun and casual themes brought an almost 'you know what' repartee from the author to the reader.
